This course is for those who are new to the concept of swimming. Children will overcome any fears or reservations that they may have about going under water. This course is designed to help build a foundation for swimming and water safety.   Our instructors use non aggressive teaching techniques that will allow your child to become comfortable, and eventually love water. Classes are 30 minutes long, and are to be taught in 5 CONSECUTIVE days. Children are in the water without parents until day 5. Classes can be held at your home or The Pompano Aquatic Center.

Follow-Up Private Lessons

There is no better way to ensure that your child is practicing the skills they have already acquired as well as building new skills in the water. Private Lessons give the instructor the chance to custom build the lesson to your child’s needs and learning style. Private lessons can be taught at your home or The Pompano Aquatic Center. Private lessons can be purchased in quantities of 4, 6, or 10. 

Group Lessons

Group Lessons are a great way for your child to continue building their swimming skills while having fun and making friends. Swimmers are grouped by ability, not age, and are constantly being individually challenged. Children learn to refine their strokes, as well as begin to learn all 4 Olympic strokes.  Group Lessons can be held at your home, or The Pompano Aquatic Center. All group lessons run in 8 week sessions and have the same children enrolled in class each week. There are never more than 4 children in each class. The cost of the full session is $160.00.

Baby & Me Classes

 The younger you get your baby acclimated to the water, the easier their swimming journey will be! Baby & Me classes are a great introduction to swimming. Parents learn how to practice safely in the water while singing songs, playing games, & swimming with their babies. Baby & Me classes are typically for babies ages 6-18 months. All classes run in an 8 week session and are 45 minutes long. Classes are held at The Pompano Aquatic Center. The cost of the session is $160.00.
